AVX Construction is based in Dublin, so this is the county we know best. We work right across the city and the suburbs, on everything from red brick terraces and 1930s semis through to apartments and newer estates. Older Dublin housing throws up its own quirks. After nine years we have seen most of them.
Working in the city means thinking about more than the job itself. Terraces share walls with the neighbours, parking is rarely simple and most of our work happens in homes people are still living in. We plan deliveries around that, keep dust where it belongs and leave the street the way we found it.
