The floor sets the tone for a whole room and it takes a lot of wear, so it needs to be done right. We install new floors and restore existing timber floors across Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.
For installations we handle the subfloor preparation and the fit. For restorations we sand back, repair and seal to bring a tired floor up to its best again. New floors often go down as part of a home renovation or alongside a new kitchen. Where a room is being tiled rather than boarded we cover that under tiling and patios.

Common questions
- Can my old floor be sanded or does it need replacing?
- Most solid timber floors can be sanded several times over their life. Engineered boards depend on how thick the top layer is. We will look at the boards, check the wear and tell you honestly whether sanding will get you there or whether replacing is the better spend.
- How much dust does floor sanding make?
- Far less than it used to. Our machines run with dust extraction, which catches most of it at source. There is still some fine dust, so we seal off the other rooms and clean down properly before we leave.
- How soon can I walk on the floor?
- Usually you can walk on it lightly the next day. The seal takes longer to cure fully, often about a week. We will tell you when it is safe to put rugs and heavy furniture back so you do not mark it.
- Do you move the furniture?
- We can move the larger pieces as part of the job. It speeds things up if you clear smaller items and anything breakable beforehand so we can get straight to work on the day.
- Do you cover my area?
- We fit and restore floors across Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow. If you are just outside those counties get in touch and we will let you know if we can help.
