From opening up a layout to a full strip out and rebuild, we plan the work carefully and keep you informed at every stage. Most projects take in a new kitchen and at least one bathroom renovation along the way, with skimming and plastering pulling the walls back together before the final coat of paint goes on.

Common questions
- How long does a full house renovation take?
- It depends on the size of the house and how much is changing. A single room upgrade can be a couple of weeks. A full refurbishment with layout changes usually runs a few months. You get a schedule at the start and we update you as the work moves rather than leaving you guessing.
- Do I need planning permission?
- Most internal work does not. Extensions, attic conversions and anything that changes the footprint or the front of the house usually do. We will tell you honestly at the first visit whether you need to talk to an architect or the council before anything else happens.
- Can I live in the house during the work?
- Sometimes. It comes down to how much of the house is affected and whether the kitchen and a bathroom stay usable. We will give you a straight answer, because living on a building site is harder than most people expect it to be.
- Do you manage all the trades?
- Yes. We cover the main building trades in house and manage anyone else the job needs, so you have one point of contact from the first visit through to handover.
- How do you price the work?
- We look at the property, agree the scope with you and give you a written breakdown before starting. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall we come to you with what it means for cost and time before carrying on.
